A 4WD trip planner for the roads and the camps
Plan the whole trip in one place: how much gravel you will accept, where you camp each night, and the offline maps to get there. Navigation is free.
Gravel and tracks, on your terms
Choose how much gravel road a route may include, from paved only to prefer gravel. The setting follows the vehicle in your garage, and you can change it for a single route.
Camps for every night
Build multi-day trips with a camp or rest stop for each night. Camp and rest-area data comes from state and federal open data, with what is there and a link to the managing authority.
Offline, and shareable
Download offline maps for the route before the signal drops. Send a trip as a single link, or share your live position with a link you can revoke.
What it is not
MotoRidez is a trip planner, not a topographic atlas. Hema, ExplorOz and BillyGoat Offroad are established options for remote-area maps and track data. Conditions on gravel roads change quickly: check closures, rain and fuel before you go.
Questions
Can I plan a route that uses gravel roads?
Yes. Choose paved only, gravel when needed, or prefer gravel, and check how much of the route is gravel before you go.
Does it plan camps?
Multi-day trips include a camp or rest stop for each night, drawn from state and federal open data.
Does it replace a topographic map app?
No. Use it to plan and navigate the trip, and keep a topographic app for remote country.
Is it free?
Planning, navigation and offline maps for a planned route are free in the app.
