Riverside Road

What it is like

Corner after corner with very little time to catch your breath. Riverside Road runs 10 km and takes about 15 minutes at a relaxed pace, longer if you stop for photos, and you will want to.

It is a quick blast and a back road. Quieter secondary roads away from the main routes.

Before you go

• Check for closures and weather. Mountain roads in particular can shut for snow, rock fall or roadworks.
• Ride it early on a weekend morning if you want it quiet.
