The southern side of the West MacDonnells, running out past Hermannsburg toward Palm Valley.
Sealed as far as Hermannsburg and a genuine outback road beyond it, with the range on one side most of the way.
It pairs with Namatjira Drive as a loop, which is how most riders do it — out one, back the other.
Beyond the seal it is adventure-bike country, and the creek crossings are the deciding factor after rain.
