A winding climb from Porepunkah up into Mount Buffalo National Park, with granite outcrops and wide views.
The road climbs steadily from the valley floor through forest into open country near the top.
It is a national park road, so expect wildlife, cyclists and slow caravans in the holiday period.
Summer is the best time to ride it. Parts of the park can close for snow or fire danger, so check conditions before you go.
