A narrow, winding climb from Canungra toward the Lamington plateau, with more corners than almost any road on the border ranges.

SeasonAny month; wet in summer

A tight, quiet road with a lot of corners packed into a short distance. Most of it is narrow, shaded and rarely straight for more than a few seconds.

It is slow riding by design: wildlife on the road is common at dawn and dusk, and oncoming traffic is often wider than the lane.

Treat it as a road to enjoy at a steady pace rather than one to push.
