Adelaide's classic: the Torrens Gorge run from Athelstone up toward Cudlee Creek, twenty minutes from the city.
It follows the river closely, which is why it corners the way it does — the road had no choice about where to go.
It is narrow in places, popular with cyclists, and prone to rockfall and repair patches on the gorge side.
