The twistiest stretch of Highway 3 between Hope and Manning Park, climbing out of the Fraser Valley into the Cascade Mountains toward Allison Pass.

SeasonJune to September

The section from Hope to Manning Park is the one to ride. It climbs steadily through forest from the Fraser Valley and crosses the pass inside a provincial park.

It is a main route, so expect trucks and holiday traffic, and take your overtaking where the road gives you clear passing lanes.

Snow can close the pass in the colder months, and rockfall is a risk in spring. Check DriveBC before you go.
